We collect the following data when you use the extension:

• Bookmarks: URLs, titles, and folder structures from your PC.
• 7-Digit Code: A temporary code generated for retrieving your bookmarks on your TV.

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII), such as your name, email address, or device identifiers. Your data is processed anonymously to protect your privacy.

Note: Under GDPR, bookmarks may be considered personal data if they reveal identifiable information (e.g., URLs related to health). However, since we do not link your bookmarks to any PII and store them anonymously, your privacy remains protected.

2. Data Usage

The data we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Uploading your bookmarks to the cloud.
• Generating a 7-digit code for retrieval.
• Enabling you to import your bookmarks to your TV via BrowseHere.

We do not use your data for any other purposes, such as advertising, profiling, or sharing with third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your bookmarks are stored securely in the cloud with end-to-end encryption, ensuring that only you can access them using the 7-digit code generated during upload. We employ industry-standard security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification of your data.

Since your data is not tied to any personally identifiable information, your anonymity is maintained throughout the process.

4. Data Retention

Your bookmark data and the associated 7-digit code are stored in the cloud for 30 days from the date of upload. After this period, your data is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers. This retention period allows you sufficient time to retrieve your bookmarks while ensuring your data is not retained longer than necessary.

5. User Rights

As a user, you have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You may request access to the data we hold about you.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your data before the 30-day retention period ends.
• Opt-Out: You can choose not to use the extension if you prefer not to upload your bookmarks to the cloud.
